My friend @natecarterl snapped this before the gorge closed. It was a clear, bright day and we could see for miles from the top of Hamilton Mountain. The thought of returning to this spot keeps my feet light as they pound the pavement for now.

Look closely. Do you see it? That green orb with wings has been in a lot of my photos lately. Tonight, my friend @tk_58222 said to me, “It’s probably someone looking after you. Do you believe in that stuff?” Hell yes, I do. Hey Dad. I’m a little scared right now. Thanks for riding bikes with me tonight.

Some new work and some old featured in the latest issue of @midwestlivingmag. I’m so proud to be a part of this incredible lifestyle publication. I mean, just check out that beautiful cover art. No matter where I live, my heart will always reside in the middle.

Come explore Trillium Lake in the winter if you want to meet more pups than people on the trails. But in a nod to summer, my left leg went for a little dip in the shallow end. It just couldn’t wait to swim in those icy cold waters again.

A surprise sunny day gave us the opportunity to hike along the coast this weekend. Four miles round-trip packed with a suspension bridge, waterfall, moss-covered old and second-growth forests and one obligatory fairy sighting.

Thanks for “making it look natural” guys. What a fun weekend celebrating @ash_medellin’s leap (birth)day at the coast.
